Play hard without that ache under your kneecap.

Picture the last point of a long match. You lunge for the ball, land hard, and your knee doesn't complain. No sharp spot. No slowing down to shake it out. You just play. That is what Patellara does.

The ache under your kneecap comes from the tendon that connects your kneecap to your shin. Every jump and stride pulls on it in the same place. Our sculpted silicone cushion sits right on that tendon and spreads the pull across it instead of letting it pile up on one spot. The strap holds the pad firmly in place, so your knee feels supported and steady through every move.

The pain is one spot. Stop wrapping the whole knee.

A sleeve wraps your whole knee in warm fabric and hopes for the best. It gets hot, it slides down, and it squeezes everything except the spot that hurts. Our strap works more like pressing a thumb on a sore muscle.

One small cushion sits right on the tendon below your kneecap and presses exactly there. Nothing else gets squeezed. Your knee stays cool and free to move, and the one spot that needs help gets it.

Excellent Knee Straps for Basketball and Work

I ordered these for my older brother because he was complaining about knee pain while playing basketball with my husband. He is 38 years old and they play basketball almost every day, so his knees definitely take a lot of stress. After using these knee straps, he said the fit is great, the stability is great, and they have helped with his knee pain a lot. He likes them so much that he even wears them at work.

    Fixed my Stair Troubles

I have osgood-schalttes disease or whatever it’s called in both knees, and stairs were a real pain, literally. At the same time I have a quad strain, and when I went up some stairs, I only felt pain in my quad due to said strain, and in my knees it was painless! Also it’s invisible under baggy pants.

Absolute Game Changers for Daily Life

I’ve been using these knee straps during workouts and they’ve made a big difference. They’re easy to adjust, stay in place, and provide good support without feeling bulky. I noticed less discomfort when running and doing squats, and they don’t get in the way during sports. Having two in the pack is convenient. Overall, they’ve been a simple but effective solution for knee pain relief

Why not just wear a sleeve?

A sleeve squeezes your whole knee and hopes the sore spot gets the message. Patellara goes straight to the tendon and leaves the rest of your knee alone.

FAQ

How do I know this is right for my kind of knee pain?

Patellara is for pain at the front of the knee, right under or around the kneecap. That covers jumper's knee, runner's knee, patellar tendonitis, Osgood-Schlatter, and general overuse from running, jumping, and lifting. If your pain is deep inside the joint, on the sides, or behind the knee, this probably isn't the fix, and we'd rather tell you that now than after you order.

Why is this better than a $10 strap on Amazon?

Most cheap straps use a flat foam tube that mashes the whole area. Patellara uses a sculpted 8mm silicone pad shaped to the tendon, with ribbed grip so it doesn't slide and sweat grooves so it doesn't get swampy. It's also backed by a 60-day guarantee, which the $10 strap isn't. If it doesn't help, you get your money back.

Where exactly do I put it?

Just below your kneecap, on the soft spot between the kneecap and the bump at the top of your shin. Press there with your thumb. If that's where it hurts, that's where the pad goes.

How tight should it be?

Snug, not tight. You should feel firm pressure on the tendon and still be able to slip a finger under the band. If your leg tingles or the skin below goes pale, loosen it.

Will it fit me?

The strap adjusts from both sides so the pad can be centered on any leg.

Will it slide down when I sweat?

No. The inside of the band has 45-degree grip ribbing that holds on wet skin, and the hook-and-loop closure doesn't loosen under movement.

Can I wear it all day? Can I sleep in it?

All day, yes. Most people wear it for training and take it off after, but it's slim and cool enough to leave on. Don't sleep in it or wear it so tight that it leaves deep marks; it's meant to work when you're moving.

Do I need one or two?

One per knee that hurts. If both knees ache, most people get two.

How long until I feel a difference?

Most people feel the sharp spot ease the first time they wear it, since the pressure change is immediate. Getting the tendon to calm down over weeks takes rest and strengthening too. The strap lets you keep training while that happens.

How do I wash it?

Hand wash in cool water with a little soap, air dry. Don't machine dry; heat is bad for the silicone and the hook-and-loop.
